As I press on through the final episodes of season 3 of 'Breaking Bad', this scene was especially significant. Tuco's ruthless assassin cousins are shown as young boys, learning the importance of family the hard way. This scene is consistent with the show's traditionally dramaturgical opening scenes, and for anyone who is familiar with Walter White's story, makes for an inadvertent, underlying theme which particularly resonates with his journey throughout the show.
