As usual I find myself behind on the best TV commodities, but my latest intrigue comes from HBO's 'The Newsroom'. Thanks to a year of a good friend's influence, I'm now in the middle of the ten-episode premiere season in three days. Created and written by Aaron Sorkin, the Academy and Emmy award-winning screenwriter and producer, the show is rooted in the dire tasks of an effective newsroom. At the epicenter is Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) who makes himself known to the audience with an illustrious rant in the opening scene of the pilot episode. Don't worry, there's plenty more if you decide to indulge in this down to earth political drama series as I have. Check out the clip below:
