'Homeland' renewed for a fourth season


Showtime's hit espionage series Homeland was renewed for a fourth season as announced by network entertainment president David Nevins this week. Since the departure of Dexter this summer, Homeland is now Showtime's most popular series, averaging 6.5 million viewers across all platforms, which is up 26 percent from last fall. 

Freshman network series Masters of Sex was also renewed for a second season.
